Zoom Video Physiotherapy Consultations…How do they work??

If you are a new patient, we will take your contact details, particularly an email address.

Using Zoom:

Register for free with Zoom www.zoom.us

Zoom can be used on laptop, desktop, ipad, tablet, android/iphone etc.

The app can be downloaded from your ‘app store’.

Your appointment details will be emailed to you.

Within the email is the link for your appointment session and an ID code and password.

If your Physio has set up a waiting room, he or she will ‘admit you’ to the call.

Ensure your camera and microphone work on your device so we can see and hear you.

We will carry out our assessment with questioning about your symptoms.

We will go through some testing movements to help us confirm a diagnosis from what we see and what you describe.

We will put a plan of action together, this will include advice, exercises and best management of your symptoms.

Your plan will be emailed to you.

Following the call, we will re book you for a follow up at a time suitable for you to check your progress.

 

Alternative call methods…

Your Physio may use Skype which will work in much the same way.  The clinic has a Skype account which we will call you from.

If you don’t have/prefer not to use Zoom or Skype, you may be able to use Whatsapp, however both yourself and your Physio are not able to hide contact details
